Happythings 2008, Week 7

--- a low-key Valentine's day at home, with my little love.  If only we were all that thrilled by three chocolate kisses next to a bowl of breakfast oatmeal, the world would be a happier place.

--- and speaking of hearts, we noticed these wonderful little guys on a walk this week.  Eeek.  We were both squealing.  Each leaf was cuter than the next.  How can we get weeds like that in OUR yard?

--- lots of play with the dog toys this week after watching the beagle win Best in Show at Westminster.  And lucky for us, she thinks that the black one is a beagle.  A different "ga-briety" of beagle.

--- a half-dozen knitted snakes hand-delivered by Grandma have also seen lots of good play this week.  I love their eyelashes and she loves that they are the color of a rough green snake.

--- rediscovering the fun of sugar cubes for tea time.
--- and the violas.  Again.
