Completed Quilt
My quilt is done. Hurray for me! Hurray for Mr. Fassett and his fabulous yarn-dyed stripes! I haven't gotten tired of looking at it as I've made the quilt and I think it will make me very happy each time I see it hanging on my living room wall.
Of course, it is dark-cloudy today so the photo isn't stellar, but I was anxious to post the finished product. I will get a better shot and post it in the Quilts Photo Album soon. Great fabric (most from this AWESOME fabric store but some other striped fabrics thrown in as well), great design (this book) but not great instructions. I could have used some guidance on pressing the seams which were more complicated than I have done before with so many angles meeting together. I have more than a few bumps but they won't be a big factor for a wall quilt. Overall, a very satisfying project. Now, on to the collection of blue/green striped fabric!

It's gorgeous. It must have taken you hours to piece together but it was well worth the effort!

Its really so beautiful! How do you find the time to do all this with a toddler? I'm jealous!
